I tried to download and run system suite 5 on my comp(e-mach)(running xp home) and it crashed?I can get it to reinstall my restore cd's but the minute it reboots it goes to the welcome page and then goes to a black screen with a white bar across the bottom????Can anyone help me with this issue??I bought a new computer and I want to fix this one and give it to my daughter whom has a newborn(preme)baby and needs the computer for research.Please anyone -help!

On page 5-1 of your eMachine User Guide, it explains that restoring
Windows XP involves reformatting the hard drive. The eMachine
Restore CDs does the reformatting for you before reinstalling XP.
In other words, do not manually reformat your drive..... allow the Restore
CD to do its job. Please read your eMachine User Guide for details.

If you misplaced your eMachine User Guide, you can download another.
