http://windowslivehelp.com/solution...s-live-hotmail-emails-from-a-mail-client.aspx

seriously, that is the way you reply??? why bother? you feel better for
looking stupid???? i was referring to the "can send but not receive mail" I
followed what mac had written which was: Go to Tools>Accounts>select your
account>Properties>Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication." my box
was never checked!!!!! so now that i have told you rather than being rude
do you have a help suggestion?

I still have no idea what you are talking about. If you would have kept to your
original post and thread then we might know what is going on. This way I would also
have to say exactly what PA Bear posted to you.

Might want to read the following concerning this post of yours

Note that PA Bear helps many people every day. Also people often post vague
questions. PA Bear could have ignored your question, but the fact that PA
Bear did not ignore your question is an indication of PA Bear's sincere
intent to help. It can be very frustrating when people say things such as
"it" without an explanation of what "it" is. If this is the first time you
frustrated someone by saying "it" without explaining what "it" is, then you
are either very lucky, or you have not gotten out much.

So why didn't you reply to your original thread?

Always reply to the post you are referring to (and quote it), so we'll know what you are talking about.
