Hi~ Just this evening, I received the message below every time that I sent a
message. I read on this help page to go to tools, accounts (select the
correct account), properties, server and make sure that the box is checked
"my sever requires authentication". I followed the above instructions and am
still receiveing this error message. Note~ even though I have been
receiving this error message, the outbox eventually sends it but not right
away as it normally does. Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.
Thank you~

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'Fw: Quick
Tips', Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'SMTP.comcast.net', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.1.1 <[email protected]> recipient invalid
domain', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number:
0x800CCC79

The first part of the error message is an attempt at a plain English
translation of the more 'geeky' and cryptic error codes that follow.
The translation attempt often fails, and I pay no attention to that
fluffy first part, and I advise others to do likewise.
Steve already gave you the correct solution.
