Yesterday I followed downloaded instructions on how
to "Tweak" my Win XP Pro SP1 settings to make it run much
faster and smoother. The instuctions included editing two
values in the registry...I know, I know...I should have
backed up my registry first...but alas...
Anyway, when I rebooted...it gave me all kinds of errors
and locked up...several times. So I tried to repair my
installation...no luck. So I installed a parallel Win XP
installation called Windows1. This one boots perfectly but
has none of the 600 installed applications in my primary
Windows installation. Now, my question is...can I
remotely edit the registry in my primary Windows
installation from my secondary Windows installation
(windows1)? Tried to do this in regedit but cannot get
this worked out yet...any advice would be greatly
appreciated.
