Help:(

I am going nutz:(

I have a hp 360n, 1gb of memory, 80gb Hard Drive, xp sp2.

My screen goes green sometimes and then turns off:( I have to reboot the
machine, I get no errors on xp's event viewer anywhere. I do sometimes get 2
beeps in the post and have to turn off and restart again. Any IDEAS?

Please help. also what is the best practice to import registry back into xp??

ps. I have check all the power setting, no Hib.

Sounds like your monitor or video card. Try using a different monitor
and see if the problem continues. Same for the video card but do them
one at a time.

Hi Koz,

Tom gave you a link for the Registry question.

As far as re-posting next week, I would start a new post, but you would have
to have some detail for those that perhaps missed this original post. Heck,
in a week *I* might not remember this post. <g> Normally, the rule is to
stick to the original thread, but in a week, this one may be difficult to
locate.

Let us know. BTW, as I'm sure you noticed, each one of those pages has some
pretty helpful links too, but I didn't feel the need to post them all.

Those beeps are telling you which part of the computer has problems. Go to
your HP website and find the beep codes. Then you can go from there. It
does sound like your video card is having problems.
