Can any1 tell me how to get visual alerts 4 new mail? can
get audio alerts but im deaf so... not much good to me
PLEASE HELP.

You don't mention which email client you are running. Maybe the Sound tab
under Accessibility options in the Windows Control Panel could help you.

I'm not sure if this works with every mail program,
however, you can try this:
- Click "Start," point to "All Programs," point
to "Accessories," point to "Accessability," then
click "Accessability Wizard," to start the wizard.
- Follow the instructions in the wizard. you can select
or clear any option to suite your needs. For example, the
third dialog box of the wizard, "Desplay Settings,"
defaults to "Change font size." If you do not want to
change any of your display settings, clear that check box.
- On about the fourth dialog box, in the wizard,
select "I am deaf or have difficulty hearing sounds from
the computer."
- The next dialog box asks, "Do you want Windows to
generate visual warnings when your system makes a sound?"
- Select "Yes."
- Continue through the rest of the wizard.

Hope that helps,

Sorry, my fingers are out-running my brain. In my
previsous post, please substitute "Accessibility" for
every instance of "Accessability."
