Can anyone help? I've got Windows XP at home, with two user accounts.
Problem is, when i turn on, it goes to the welcome screen it shows me the
two log in accounts. when i choose one, it logs in then out again straight
away before you can do anything. Anyone know what i can do, cos i can't get
in to change settings, so am stuck at Welcome screen.

In safe mode , there is a adminstrator account , that has
no password required. I would use that acccount. Just
reboot, depress and hold f8, select save mode and use
that administrator account. Once you get it I would run
error checking. Need help? Open help and support and
search for "error checking" Then I would run virus scan.

Something else you might try to see is whether or not the 30 day registration
has either not been completed or some how lost. I know that when I had the
same problem, it was because I hadn't registered on time. This is found
through the safe mode boot described by larry.
