I keep getting an error message stating I am "Out of
Memory" yet I am running Windows XP on a Pentium III with
a 60 G hard drive and 64 m RAM - Ran XP on this Computer
before and have even bought a BRAND NEW Windows XP program
and It is STILL doing it !!! any suggestions ???

64 MB of RAM is not really sufficient to run XP IMHO.

The reader should exercise normal caution and backup the Registry and
data files regularly, and especially before making any changes to their
PC, as well as performing regular virus and spyware scans. I am not
liable for problems or mishaps that occur from the reader using advice
posted here.
 
Are you serious? 64MB of RAM is barely enough to run Windows XP alone.
You're lucky you can get anything done on that computer.

Woa dude you got way 2 much Ram,take a stick out to 32MB
it'll go away,you'll be smoking!

dummy and tell us you have a P I at 59 MHz processor with
a 500 MB hard drive in a bare bone system you put
togetfer from compgeeks.com

Not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, now are we? Let's see now,
you're receiving an out of memory error so, instead of querying the amount
of RAM you have installed, and checking it against the minimum system
requirements, you think "I know! XP must be faulty!" and you rush out and
purchase another copy. Look at the system requirements, they're on the box -
and pay particular attention to what it states under minimum memory
requirements. Note that "minimum" means "the amount required to install XP -
not the amount required to actually do anything.

Or are you one of these people who doesn't know the difference between
memory and hard drive space.
