Every time I'm in the middle of something my computer
freezes up. I have to turn it off and restart it
constantly. I have windows XP. any suggestions?

Has the computer always done this, or did it just start recently?
When it freezes, did you try looking at Task Manager (alt-ctrl-dlt)?

Have you defragged your hard drive recently? Run a virus scan?

I'd start with a spyware check. Run Spybot S&D and HijackThis. Go
