Bob

I've got several programs on my system that I cannot
delete. I am running XP with Norton Systemworks 2004...
and after the Norton scan, I receive a report stating 3
threats on my system:

biprep.exe
wupdater.exe
tvtmd.exe

I am unable to delete them through Norton, or through a
file search... Once I locate them, a window pops up saying
I cannot delete the program because I do not have
authorization.

What in the heck go on to my computer, and how in the
world do I get if off?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

You could try booting to Safe Mode, or to a Command Prompt, and try
deleting from there. Before booting to one of these modes, write down
the full path name to the files - you'll need it.
