I changed the computer name on my computer (Windows XP)
to create a home network, and changed it from a domain to
a workgroup. I now can't log on to my computer. How do I
change it back to the original domain, and to do so, how
do I log on to the computer to begin with.

Hi,

If you don't know the password of the local admin you
cannot enter your computer again.

You should reset the password with a linux password
resetter

You may or may not have permissions to rejoin the
machine, but likely not (it is a domain adm choice)
and you certainly could not if machine is not on the
domain's network at the time.
You likely need intervention by the domain admins,
or there delegates.

In the meantime you will only be able to use machine
local accounts, not domain accounts.
