You (along with the other 50 people this week who found out how to post
before they found out how to read) need to reformat the drive.
Back up your files first - you will have to delete them from the hard
drive as part of the install process. Then stick your 98 CD in the
machine, boot off it, and make sure you reformat the partition (or
remove the partition altogether and start over).
