Help! I am trying to format and fresh install XP Home on
an older system that has a P2-300Mghz and 128MB RAM
(minimum requirements according to MS). Everything goes
fine until the final boot. When it gets to the "Welcome"
screen, the system freezes. I CAN get into Safemode and
the Device Manager and it appears that XP has recognized
all of my hardware correctly. I am thinking it might be a
driver or not enough RAM, but not sure what to do next.
Anyone know how to troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance.
