For the last couple of months or so I have been unable to launch a lot of help funcitons on my machine for various programs. This includes the help and support in the start area, as well as many other apps. I think I may have deleted something when I ran a spybot application and would like to know how to get these funcitoning again. Do I need to do a custom install, and what would be involved with that
Thanks a lot for any help

Hi Doug,

Thanks a lot for any help.

Start/run and type in: helpctr -regserver or to totally reinstall help
and support, assuming you installed to C:
Make hidden folders visible first and then go to
C:\windows\inf\pchealth.inf right-click and choose install. You will
need the XP cd.

Or

To reinstall Help and Support:

Hope this helps.
