help with "the page you are looking for"

occasionally when surfing i get the following message

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be
experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings.

i don't think the site is down,so if anyone can possibly tell me what
browser settings i may need to adjust,i'd be grateful

i'm using xp home edition,broadband connection,and ie version 6.0.2800

Some sites are loaded with graphics, if your temp folder is full you may get your
message. In IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.

Unfortunately,still can't get the site i need. www.johnnybroadband.co.uk

i'm not spamming,this IS a genuine enquiry.

maybe someone else can give it a go and let me know if they can access the
site!

The domain is not defined in DNS (based on a whois query I just made).
That's why IE told you it was "unavailable". It's not.

No, I didn't try. I first did, as I wrote above, search for the domain
via the "whois" command (on Linux, but you can do same via some page on
the Internet ... seach Google on "whois" to find Internet sites where
this service provided ... I can't remember off the top of my head) and
found that this domain is "unavailable".
