Help with System!

I was wondering if I could try and get some help here
Basically, I know I have some variant of the Blaster worm here at work. ( I had it at home and the same type of files /problems are here at work. The IT guys here think I am full of it, and refuse to look at anything I have here. All they did was reformat. I mean I'm no computer genius, but I know when something is wrong. My task manager has processes running when I end one of them that doesn't look right, it comes right back (doesn't shut down anything)and I have no clue what it even is. When I click on a APPLICATION that has been installed on my system it does NOTHING. My computer runs as slow as my AOL DIALUP I had years ago. My CPU will run at 80-90% much of the day with hardly any applications running. Well, I do have CA ETrust Anti-Virus, but it doesn't seem like it's doing anything, I mean I don't even see it updating daily even though it shows active on my screen. My IT people have taken my Administrator privileges away so I can't really get any other scanning tool on here. Which means I can not see what Security Updates have been installed or whatnot
I would love to make sure my system is safe
Any help/info would be great!!!!!

One alternative is that you have a hard drive going bad.
Look at the possibility.
The next possible cure is to tell the IT guys to get off
their lazy asses and do their jobs.
Finally, you might try is using McAfee's Free Online Scan
to see if Blaster is really there. That is if you system
will allow you.
Frankly, it doesn't sound like Blaster to me but you
should rule it out. A CPU will always show only 80-90%
available without any applications other than the
operating system running.
Hope you can get it cleared.
