Please help!! I don't know anything about Excel. I downloaded a zone
chart from ups.com (to obtain their shipping info for an e-commerce
website) and now I have tons of excel icons on my desktop each time I
restart my computer. I delete them to the recycle bin and empty it and
they come right back. I went to temporary files and the folder they
were located in (Windows/Recent) and deleted them their as well. Yes,
they are still back. The files are numbered sequentially and have gone
up to over 900. They appear about 60 at a time on my desktop. Any idea
what is causing this and how can I get rid of it? I do not use excel
and , therefore, am not familiar with its files, etc. Thank you.

Hi

Download Ad-Aware (from www.lavasoftusa.com), or some other similar program,
and let it remove all what it finds. And after this delete not only TEMP
folder, but all contents of Temporary Internet Files folder and Cookies
folder too (but it'll be wise to check before, that no files in these
folders are invoked by startup (Load or Run keys in Windows part of Win.ini,
or Shell key in Boot part of System.ini) - some malware does it, and when
then you remove these files, your comp can freeze at startup.
