Help with sharing .pst files please

Hi everyone. I was just hired on with a company to replace a basic
aministrator. Unfortunately, the person I replaced handled all the Outlook
contact updates. All employees would receive a weekly update to all their
seperate contacts folders. I am rather new to Outlook and unsure how to do
this. I searched the Knowledge Base and found what I thought were
instructions. However, on most computers, the update did not process itself
and employees had to double click on them and be denied access for it to
process. Also, I'm not sure the update worked for everyone. The folder I
sent was called "Others". Anyone that did not already have a folder called
"Others", still doesn't have one. Will they need to create one to get this
to work? I'm running Outlook 2000.
If anyone has any instructions or suggestions, I would appreciate the help.
