| I have had a lot of viruses and spyware, adware, hijacker,
| etc. recently. I believe I have them deleted ( well a
| portion of them anyway! ) My computer has sent me messages
| numerous times that I have software programs with memory
| leaks and that I needed a high-performance memory manager
| that can fix these leaks. Preferably something free but
| very good. I also need to speed up my computer. It has
| gotten a lot slower. I have been up for days with little
| sleep. ~ very confussed! ~ Can anyone help!!
Your computer sending you "messages numerous times that I have software
programs with memory leaks" is another symptom of your spyware problems.
Windows has no capacity for issuing such a warning.
"Memory leaks" are a result of improperly written software which allocates
memory for itself and then fails to free it when done. The result is
gradually reducing available memory and is termed a "leak." As such no third
party program is going to "fix" these "leaks."
OTOH that you even have programs with memory leaks is undetermined as the
messages you're receiving stating that you do are advertisements and have
not actually analyzed anything.
There are "memory manager" type programs but in my opinion, under Windows
XP, these programs do little to increase performance and can do more harm
than good. (opinions vary on this subject) Windows XP does a good job at
managing memory.

If as you say you have had multiple infectors of both the virus and malware
variety it *may* be time to consider starting fresh with a format and clean
install of Windows.
