i dont have a clue if this is even possible to do but what i would like to do
is take my two computers and link them together in such a way that when i
move my mouse to say the far left of my screen it actualy ends up on my other
computer so what i would like to do is make it so that i have two monitors
however the second monito being another computer if that does not make sense
or you know for sure that that is not possible to do at the curnt point in
time please notify me at (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed) thanks.

ps. im using windows xp home edition and yes i already have a network hooked
up.

You need both monitors hooked up to the one PC, which means using
a dual head graphics card.. This will allow you to extend the
desktop as you indicate, I know this is possible with Win2000, but
can't say for sure if it is supported by XP Home ?.
