Help with Links Dropping Out

Hope someone can give me some suggestions here.
Not a real expert at excel, but I get by !! I am trying to lin
various cells over several spreadsheets within the same workbook. Eac
cell contains a formula which calculates a dollar value used in variou
spreadsheets.

The problem is I can link the cells manually, save both spreadsheet
before exiting, and all seems OK. I can move in and out o
spreadsheets in the same 'sitting', with no loss of links and data.
But as soon as I close Excel and come back later to work, the link
have 'broken' and I have to enter all over again. Only trouble is
have probably over 50 links !!!

Hope someone has some thoughts on this one......... ?

OK now I'm confused:-

These two statements leave me unsure as to what you have.

Clarify the above, ie are you using 1 or more workbooks. If only 1 workbook
then I assume you are linking differenet worksheets within that workbook. Also
give us an example of a couple of the links you are using.
