help with lan & dslt

Am using dsl connection via lan and need to know if I disable the lan, can
anyone access my computer. I'm windows savy, but in no way confident.I've
been disconnecting the phone line...

If you disable the LAN, no one from the outside can access your computer
and you will not be able to get to the Internet.

A better solution to protect your computer is to use a firewall,
antivirus software, and practice Safe Hex:
