Help with formula ...not working

Formula is.... =SUM(C6:C120)

Simple enough but not adding up the cells in column C
It just shows the above formula in the destination cell.

It looks ok to me and cells are formated to `general`
 
Try deleting the equal sign and any leading spaces or other unseen
characters that may preceed it, press ENTER, then put the equal sign back in
and press ENTER again

Make sure that the cell is not formatted as Text.
Format|Cells|Number Tab|General (just not text)

then reenter the formula
Hit F2 followed by enter.

If that doesn't help, make sure you're not looking at formulas:
Tools|Options|View Tab|uncheck formulas
(xl2003 menu system)
