hello

I'm a super newbee and was wanting help in making an email account to use
with outlook 2007. I'm nout super smart when it comes to this stuff so any
help with making one that will not cost me anything would be helpful. (seeing
you have to pay to use it with msn. :-(.... )

do you have an email account already? if so, what type of account is it -
imap, pop3 or web-based?

As Dinae mentioned, you'll first need to have an email account and most of
the major ISP emails and the big ones which provide IMAP, POP access have
instructions as to setup the email in Outlook (ie, the servers etc) listed
on their website..

They may even have pictorial step-by-step instructions for Outlook 2003,
Outlook Express etc. You can figure out the paralells in Outlook 2007 with
some careful inspection (you dont need an advanced degree for that!!)

My best word of advice to you is, if you are indeed a "super newbee" -
delete the Beta and stick with released software. This is not a google
perpetual beta where they have an almost ready for primetime application but
label it a beta so they don't have to offer support. This is a real Beta
and not at all ready for prime time so you should not be using it as if it
is. Your data can become corrupt or unrecoverable, your files may be
unreadable by previous versions, etc.

Betas are NOT for newbees.

thats why i wanted to get a free email or start a new one so i could test it
and see if it like it and try to break it. I'm good at that. I would not up
load an email into outlook unless it was solid. (maybe if i was daring enough
to use the pst)

I have the basic hotmail account to answer the first question

If you have a basic Hotmail account (i.e., one of the free ones), you won't
be able to use Outlook 2007 to access it. You won't be able to use any
version of Outlook (or Outlook Express) to access, most likely.
