help with contacts list

On my Outlook, it shows all my IM contacts in my address
list on the side bar of the page. This is rather annoying
as I have over a hundred IM contacts, and they appear
above my email contacts. How can I get Outlook to NOT
show me my IM contacts, and show strictly my email list?
I've gone thru all the help menus and tryed a MS request
for help (which wouldn't go thru).

Ask in an Outlook Express forum. This is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Just click on the x to close the IM field or go to View-> Layout... to
untick Contacts
