help with "can not find path" message.

I receive a cannot find path message when I try to find an address using the address bar. My interent connection is not the problem. In fact,every link on my favorites bar works, and when I search using google I have no problems accessing web pages. I am guessing there is a corupted file of some sort.

Help Please
 
In IE Tools | Internet Options | Advanced, scroll down to the Search from
the address bar section. Make a selection except "Do not search from the
Address bar".
