Hi,

I have a simple rule using Outlook 2003.
When email arrives "with specific words in the subject line or body" it
should be moved to folder X

But, then I need an "anti" condition, like "NOT with specific words in the
subject lije or body"

How do I do it ???

Example in words

"If email arrives with "abc" in the subject or body line BUT NOT "xyz", then
move to folder X"

Is this possible ?
Thanks so much !
Alex

Yes, this is a simple process.
1. Open Outlook.
2. Go to Rules and Alerts.
3. Click New Rule.
4. Select "Start from a blank rule" and click Next.
5. Select "with specific words in the subject" and "with specific words in
the body" then specify the words by clicking on the underlined words in the
bottom section labeled "Step 2" and click Next.
6. Select "move it to the specified folder" and again specify the folder to
move it too and click Next.
7. Now the Exception screen is up so you need to select "with specific
words in the subject" and "with specific words in the body" then specify
the words and click Next.
8. Give the rule a name and Click Finish.

You can also modify an existing rule to add an exception. I hope this
information is helpful.
