Help with a hard drive

[Newbie1]

I have a USB hard drive.
The drive is "seen" in XP under DiskManager
It is shown as
IDE2
74.55 GB FAT32
Health (Active)

Rt Clicking on DISK1 (which lists the drive as:
DISK1
BASIC
74.55 GB
Online)

It shows up as a primary part. There IS data. I need to access this data.

I do NOT see any drive letter assigned. HOW DO I ASSIGN a drive letter? When
I RT CLICK the drive in Disk Manager, CHANGE is greyed out.

HELP PLEASE!!!!
