HELP- Will not turn on

Hello,
I was using a dell laptop computer and for the past few weeks it has
been malfunctioning. it tends to freeze and crash every day at least twice a
day. i used windows XP and everything seemed fine for a while. the last time
it crashed it wouldnt let me reboot. when i turn it completely off and try
to turn it on again nothing happens. the screens completely black. someone
please help!!

Is the battery dead? Do you get any lights on the laptop itself to show
that it's getting power?

Laptops are quite fickle and use many proprietary parts, so your best
hope is to contact Dell tech support.
