HELP!!! What is the shortcut key?

What is the keyboard shortcut to immediately move to the
left most cell in a row. Cntrol + the left arrow keys
seems to stop on particular data. I just wanted to hit a
key and go to the very far left end of the row.

I believe it's the "home" key.
