When i log on as admin i find that file mssyncu.exe is a running
process. A google shows nothing for this. A look in Norton IS data
showing running connections sohw ns1.truerecords.biz trying to
communicate using this exe file, seemingly port scanning,my pc then
slows considerablly as Norton is fully engaged using cpu power to
defend these attacks,,

am i being paranoid?something is oging on and its been happeining for
a few days now

i'm presently logged on as a limited user and no similar symptoms are
showing at present..

Hi,

It's suspicious as all get-out. I would remove the file, and scan the
registry for any mention of it. At a guess, I'd say it is a bit of spyware,
or a trojan. Whichever it is, it ain't kosher. You may find that the best
way to deactivate and remove it is to restart in Safe mode first by hitting
F8 at boot.
