Every time I reboot my laptop, "wireless zero configuration" service starts
automatic and then stops. Once I restart it manually it runs ok. No error
in event viewer, only that it received a "stop" request.

TIA

HP Pavillion zd7000
512 Mb RAM, 60 Gb hdd

Does your wireless card have its own configuration utility and if so have
you disabled it from starting up? Many wireless cards come with such a
utility and it will often shut down WZC so that it can control the card.

Thank you much, Richard. HP machines are new to me. They do have their own
config util, not easily located.

Thank again,
