Help Using OUTLOOK w/Hotmail

I am about to try to help a friend of mine get up and running on his
Hotmail account using OUTLOOK. Anything I need to know, or is it
pretty straightforward?

Not saying you are wrong, but I am still able to connect to Hotmail using
both my Outlook '03 and Entourage '04. I always have been. I first started
using Outlook Express and Hotmail together with version 5 for Mac back in
1999.

Is there some type of stipulation regarding this? If you had your account at
a certain time, maybe you still have access?

older accounts may work for some limited time.

Hotmail is supposed to pull the plug on free Outlook/Outlook Express access
this month or next.
 
That's what figured. Thanks. I knew what you were saying was correct. I
received the same emails everyone else did about the service being pulled.
It just hadn't happened yet. I was kind of hoping that somewhere in the
legalese it would have allowed for older accounts to work. <g>
