To all

I am unable to access my hard drive in my computer on Windows XP Pro as its not shown and i have check in command prompt which tells me that the drive does not exist.

I though it could be the hardware fault but on the bios settings it has the hard drive present

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Does your machine boot the OS? What HDD are you using? If you are using it as a secondary drive is it formatted? What are your jumper settings? What type of file system partition are you working with on the HDD?

Hi Micheal

My Machine does boot the OS, The Hard Drive which is not shown is an 80GB unknown make it been over a year and the hard drive is being used as a secondary drive which is not formatted.

The Hard Drive Partition settings is NTFS and the jumper settings are not conflicting with any other hardware i.e DVD-ROM, DVD- RW and an extra 20GB Seagate Hard Drive.
