Hi,
I have the sdelete.exe program which I'm using to delete files but I want
to be able to run it from any folder without having to put a copy of the
sdelete.exe in THAT folder. TIA.

Place a copy of sdelete.exe into c:\Windows.

Aside from the good advice from others regarding the placing of the file in the
system's path, you may want to contact the author of this utility in order to
validate its use in Windows XP.

The current SysInternals' tech article states, "SDelete works on Windows 95, 98,
NT 4.0 and Win2K." There is no mention of Windows XP.

You may or may not be enjoying the security features of this utility.

Many sites say it's okay for XP. I think they just missed to mention it. But
thanks for the info.:)
