Help setting up Printer & File Sharing

Need assistance with troubleshooting printer/file sharing.

- Three computers all running XP Home SP2
- Computer 1 & 2 have Norton System Works 2006 and Norton PFW 2006
- Computer three is a laptop with Norton System Works 2003/No PFW
- All three have Windows PFW disabled
- Computer 2 and Computer 3 are connected wireless G through router.
- Computer 1 is wired to router direct
- All can access internet and ping each other

Issues:

Computer 1 cannot view other two computers in workgroup but can access
files/printer on Computer 2, cannot access Computer 3 Files

Computer 2 can sometimes view other two computers in workgroup but cannot
access either of the two.

Computer 3 Laptop can view the other two computers in workgroup but cannot
access files on other two computers.

To clarify, when I say "it view the other two", when I go to My Computer and
click
"View other computers in workgroup" it shows the names of the other two
computers.

I have rerun the Windows Network Wizard a few times.

The situation is fickle, sometimes Computer 1 can view the other two
computers, I toggle in and out of my computer and it loses it. Sometime
Computer 1 can access Computer 3 files, I toggle in and out and it loses it.

I have turned off Norton PFW on computers 1 & 2 as well and that did not
make a difference. I did spend a lot of time with Norton PFW configuring it
for network file/printer sharing but none of it made a difference.

Any ideas?

Pete,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. Norton PF cannot
always be disabled successfully. There are several other possibilities, however,
and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this article with an open mind.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):
