Hi, I'm new with VB and access and would like help

I have a query that filter data from a huge table

Now I've created a report to present data from this query. What I
would like is to write a macro (or sub or module or something like
this, since I don't really now what's the différence!) , that would
prompt the user for the begining and end date, then put those date in
the query as a criteria, and then show the report.

thanks

Francis,
There are many ways to allow the user to specify criteria "on the fly"
before a report runs. The answers are not complicated, but require
responses that are too lengthy for the newsgroup environment. The questions
a bit to "broad"

Check out a simple method to use. Try Help under...
"Parameter queries" - Create a parameter query that prompts for
criteria each time it's run.
