Having run out of room on the boot drive, I installed a 200mb Western
Digital. I noticed that on power on there was no 'New Hardware Found"
message. Looking in Device Manager, I found the drive listed and after
doing a properties, it said everything was working. However, nothing shows
up in Windows Explorer. No new drive letter.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you format it? Run the Western Digital CD (Or Floppy), and select the
new drive, and follow the prompts.

Click on start--control panel--administrative tools--computermanagement--diskmanagment.When you select diskmanagment at left side, you can see the disk which you have attached in the computer at the right side.Just select the harddisk and right click on it and format it.

Hey, "divakartandon" ...I have to ask...what does that name represent? It's
very unique. Sounds like something you'd see in the Lord Of The Rings, or
something. (I'm not trying to be disrespectful, just curious)...And, thanks
for the other option you gave the OP...I didn't think of doing it that way,
for some reason.
