help required re security setting ...

Just dipping in to the group to ask for some help. I'm using Outlook Express
6 and on some messages I receive I have "OE removed access to the following
unsafe attachments in your mail: ...." and the attachments are [obviously]
no longer attached.

I assume it is because of a security setting somewhere. Can anyone help me
to get my attachments?

Usually that happens when you have Norton AV running. Happens to me. I can
usually by-pass it by opening the email fully and clicking the attachment on
the right. If that doesn't work, I forward the email to my yahoo account or
hotmail and get it from there.

Check your settings in your AV program for allowing email attachments.
Personally, I prefer safe like that than sorry, but that's just me.

Tools-> Options-> tab Security-> option Do not allow attachments...
