help regarding saving passwords in IE7

Hello:

I can't seem to get IE7 to remember passwords and login names. I have gone
to help and done everything it tells me to do. I have clicked for it to
prompt me for passwords, but it isn't saving or asking anything.

Any suggestions?

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
