HELP!! Reboot problem's

This problem just started occuring & any help would be appreciated! When I
Restart my Computer I get a Black blank screen & the Computer just sit'd
there. I have to hit the Power Button to shut off the computer then power it
back on to get it to Boot back into Window's (XP) any idea's????

I have the same problem, Only it doesn't only happen on
reboots, it also happens to me when I start the computer
up for the day. I have run windows update, and that
didn't seem to fix it. If I find anything out I'll let
you know.

Thank's Rich as this is driving Me Nut's! I did upgrade the Video Driver's &
still the same problem!
 
I was playing with some BIOS options and I think I may
have stopped the problem. I went into the Dell BIOS then
to the Boot Tab, selected quick boot and enabled it.
then i went to the exit tab, hit save custom defaults
then exited saving changes. After doing that the problem
seemed to have gone away. just to test it I checked it
during every startup for the Next week and it hasn't
froze once. I'm not sure why this worked, but it seems
to have done the trick.
