I wrongly thought that my visual studio had sp5 installed (in fact no sp was
installed).

I compiled my app, used P&D, to make the setup CD, and went to my customer.
I installed, and ran the app. Immediately, I get 'run-time error '7' - Out
of memory.

Since then I have applied sp5, and rebuilt the app. On other client
machines, all fine 100%.

BUT still get 'out of memory' on the original machine?? (Even if I reinstall
the original software, which ran without a problem for 6 months - it now
give out of memory1)

I am sure that the P&D (package & deploy) has done something.

I have spent a whole week on this, but still not resolved.

Any ideas appreciated.

thanks

Garry

Need to know what components were packaged up... FM20? Riched32.dll? What? (both of the

Steve & ken

thanks for your replies.

Unfortunately, that was not it. I ran the Richedfx.exe program. Id confirmed
that the version on my machine was the correct one.

An other ideas?

Garry
