You can use bound controls to enable the direct input of
information to the tables. Not sure how you can avoid
using VBA. Any reasons why you are being prevented from
using VBA?

I need some general advice on completing a task.

I have a subform and a button. When pushed, the button
on the subform needs to take the information displayed on
the subform, change about three of the ten fields, and
then append that data to the table which feeds the
subform in the first place. While I think I can do this
with the help of VBA, I've been asked to NOT use it. I
need to do this with macros, code builder, and queries.
I'm stumped. Can someone help me out? I can provide
more information about this project, too. Again, just a
general idea of how this might be done is fine (for now,
anyway.)
