hi, there is this strange fenomena-my drive C (windows and drivers
were installed on it) is constantly in reduce of free space!!!
I constantly erase temporary internet files, temp files, coockies, the
content of "temp" folder in windows. I have only 21 restore points and
every new simply erases old one (I think....)
I don't install anything on C
with all that one day of work with computer somehow costs me in free
space...
Just one week ago I had 3GB of free space-now it's already 2.92GB
Please heeeeeeeelp!!!!!

Are you also emptying the Recycle Bin? Otherwise deleting things saves no
disk space. If you have Norton Utilities installed you need to take
additional steps to remove permanently. Also, you write of clearing the
Temp folder in Windows, but in XP the temp folder is in you profile,
C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Temp. That is the
folder you need to clean up, but do so only after a reboot to allow any
deferred installs to complete.

System restore will increase in size until it reaches the limit set for
the drive (by default 12% of the size of the drive), then it should
discard old points to make new ones. But you might find it useful to
reduce the space allotted - I doubt if there is much benefit in having
more than around 10 points in the ordinary way.

There will probably be a number of log files of one sort and another
that grow - and are you sure you have all your data going to a different
drive? Is 'My Documents and the related My Picture etc directed there?
Is the OUtlook Express Store folder/ (in its Tools - Options -
MAintenance, click Store Folder to see and if needed move it
