Help, Please: Folder Access Problem

Trying to load Word 97 document from floppy drive and get error message on a
Microsoft Word error screen: "You do not have access to the folder "A:\".
See your administrator for access to the folder".

First time this has happened to me.

Details on how to correct this problem will be very much appreciated.

Which version of Word are you using now? If you have 2000 or XP then the
problem might be compatibility. When opening the file try using the "files
of type" box to choose All word Document. Also try copying the files from
the A drive to your computer and try to open the one on your computer.
