Help -- Picture files save as BMP files

I have Internet Explorer 6, and every time I save a picture file, it saves
as a bmp file. I've already gone to "Internet Options" and I've clicked on
"Delete Files", but the problem persists.
Is there a way to correct this?
 
You have to make sure to clean the cookies, clean offl line files AND check
the box and clean again.

Refresh the page and save the picture immediately. The bmp thing happens
only after the window has been open a while.
