HELP - Outlook Express Remember Password

Got hit by a virus which deleted my registry. I've reinstated everything but
outlook express now requires me to re-enter my pop password after every time
it starts rather than remembering it althought the "remember my password"
box is checked but is greyed out. Can anyone help???

Ask in the Outlook Express newsgroup. This newsgroup addresses issues
regarding MS Office Outlook. Sounds the same, but isn't.

I was aware of that but I'm sure the principle behined the problem is the
same across both applications, hence my request here.

Only rarely will an Outlook Express question get answered here. It muddies
things to answer off-topic questions.
