Outlook on my Dell Inspiron 3800 laptop will not launch. I
keep getting an error message that says I need to find the
Office SP-1 file called "data1Pro.msi" and reload it or
something. I don't have the original CD to do this. Is
there an easy work around? I don't have admin privelages
on the PC as it is a hand-me-down PC. Someone told me to
uninstall OUtlook completely, but how do you do that?
Nowhere on the Add/Remove Programs list is just Outlook
listed to uninstall it. I'm running Win 2000 Pro with MS
Office 2000. Thanks! Step-by-step instructions would be
helpful.

Sal
It looks as though you have the same problem as me - only
my computer is a Dell Optiplex desktop computer - also a
hand-me-down- but the message I keep getting is: the
server containing Global Address List is no longer
available - try again. But I can't find another server!
If you find out anything please let me know
([email protected]) and I will contact you if I find
out anything.

Best wishes
Teresa
