Help on uninstalling Windows XP Home ed

hi, i need help please!

i need to install windows 98se over the top of windows xp
home. the windows xp hasn't been activated yet and can't
be because it's been activated already on 3 other
machines. the problem is that i can't activate it and
need to remove windows xp home and replace it with
windows 98se. so please i ask, how do i do this? please
help and thankyou in advance!

Backup all files important to you elsewhere (off the machine.)
Go to http://www.bootdisk.com/ and download/create a Windows 98SE boot
diskette.
Boot with your Windows XP CD...
Follow through like you were going to Install Windows XP up until it asks
you which partition to install on.. DELETE ALL PARTITIONS.
Reboot with your Windows 98 CD/Floppy diskette..
Install Windows 98SE.

* That is if you did not do an upgrade with Windows XP and it is not in the
Add/Remove programs control panel.
