Hello everyone,
Please help me with my problem in that I cannot restore my computer to any
previous restore points. My laptop model is SONY VGN-SZ28GP and has Windows
XP SP2.

When I chose any restore points to retore, it restarted. but when the
windows starts, it said 'No change has been made on your computer'.

Please help me what I should do in order the Syster Restore to start working
again. Otherwise, I would have to use Syster Recover, which is my last option.

System Option is my only best option.

Thanks

Unfortunately sometimes system restore gets messed up. One cause is
having too many restore points. The restore points are chained
together, all have to be in good order. A problem in one of them and it
won't restore. When this happens the only recourse is to turn off
system restore which deletes all restore points, then turn it back on.
Unfortunately this won't help you with your problem. For the future in
system restore properties decrease the amount of space allocated to SR.
the default of 12% is too much. And SR is only good for 2 or 3 weeks
anyway. See this link for other info on causes for a fail to restore.

You can run ERUNT as a back up to restore, or as a restore alone.

(recovers a ton of disk space)
